SOLID ELMTOMERIC MATERIALS
MIL-STD-417A(MK) dated 8 February 1976 ia inactive for new design and
shall be no Longer used except in the procure-nt of replenishment
spares as necessary to -intain equipment in the field until obsoletion
or wear out.
New designs should use tirican Society for Testing and Materials Stanc3-
ard D 2000, entitled “Elastomeric ~terials for Automotive Applications.”
(Copies of specifications,
standards, drawings, and publications required
by suppliers in connection with specific procurement functions should be
obtained from the procuring activity or m
directed by the contracting
officer.)
