SCOPE
1.?. Scope.
This specification covers three types and two
classes of manually operated, slide action, hammerless, 12 gage
riot-type shotguns (See 6.1).
1.2 Classification.
Shotguns covered by this specification
shall be of the follow:ng types and classes.
Type I.
With bayonet adaptor, heat shield and sling.
Class 1. Take-down receiver.
Class 2. Solid receiver.
Type II.
With sling only.
Class 1;
Take-down receiver.
Class 2. Solid receiver.
Type III. With rifle sights and sling.
Class 1.
Take-down receiver.
Class 2. Solid receiver.
