This supplement implements and extends the guidance in Air Force Manual (AFMAN) 10-
207, Command Posts. It provides Air Force guidance for the establishment, organization,
manning, operation, equipment, training and support of Command Posts (CP)/Command Center
and Specialized Command and Control Elements (SC2E). It also establishes basic guidance for
the 1C3 Air Force Specialty Code (AFSC). It applies to all Air Education and Training Command
(AETC) Command and Control organizations and personnel, including Air Force Reserve
Command (AFRC) and Air National Guard (ANG) forces gained through Command Post.
Additional requirements such as facilities, manpower, and duty/workload standards will be
coordinated between individual units and the ANG 1C3 Career Field Manager (CFM) to meet non-
federal allocations. ANG will accomplish training standards/requirements as outlined by their
gaining-Major Command (MAJCOM) in preparation for mobilization. This publication does not
apply to the United States Space Force. Refer recommended changes and questions about this
supplement to the office of primary responsibility (OPR) HQ Air Education and Training
