1. Purpose. To update Child and Youth Program (CYP) policy on
the inclusion of children with and without disabilities and
other special needs (chapter 4), and provide guidance on caring
for children with chronic health conditions and the
administration of medications (chapter 19).
2. Action
a. Remove pages 9 through 11 of the basic instruction and
replace with enclosure (1) of this change transmittal.
b. Remove pages i and v of enclosure (1) of the basic
instruction and replace with enclosure (2) of this change
transmittal.
c. Remove chapter 4 of enclosure (1) of the basic
instruction and replace with enclosure (3) of this change
transmittal.
d. Remove pages 19-27 and 19-28 of chapter 19 of enclosure
(1) of the basic instruction and replace with enclosure (4) of
this change transmittal.
