Command (NAVEXINTCOM) Forces
1. Purpose
a. To issue the projected operational environment (POE) and the required operational
capabilities (ROC) for the elements of the Navy Expeditionary Intelligence Command
(NAVEXINTCOM) forces.
b. This instruction has been revised to update NAVEXINTCOM required readiness levels
across all mission areas. This instruction provides descriptions of NAVEXINTCOM forces,
mission requirements, capabilities, and the mission environments described in references (a) and
(b).
c. This instruction is a complete revision and should be reviewed in its entirety.
2. Cancellation. OPNAVINST 3501.382.
3. Background. NAVEXINTCOM was established in order to build and manage an
expeditionary intelligence force capable of conducting intelligence operations in support of Navy
and joint forces worldwide. NAVEXINTCOM provides a multi-intelligence, surveillance, and
reconnaissance (ISR) capability that collects, analyzes, and disseminates human intelligence
