1. Purpose. To issue the required operational capabilities
(ROC) and the projected operational environment (POE) for the
Naval Surface Warfare Center Indian Head Explosive Ordnance
Disposal Technology Division Technical Support Detachment
(NAVSURFWARCENIHEODTECHDIV TECHSUPP DET) and its combined
explosives exploitation cells (CEXC) and foreign materiel
acquisition (FMA) platoons.
2. Cancellation. OPNAVINST F3501.374.
3. Background. Per reference (a), the Navy is charged with
developing the technology and information necessary to support
joint service explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) forces.
References (b) and (c) assign that mission to Naval Surface
