1. Purpose.
a. To set forth policy and responsibilities for Service craft, Combatant craft and Boats (SC
and B), to include allowance establishment, acquisition, life cycle management, property
management, inventory management, inspections, maintenance, repair, overhaul, modernization,
logistics, final disposition, funding support and financial reporting.
