Representative Designation Procedure
1. Purpose. To establish policy and assign responsibility for
the Department of the Navy (DON) Domestic Technology Transfer
(T2) Program, in accordance with references (a) through (k).
a. DoD software licensing policy which delegates to the
Head of designated DON Laboratories the authority to transfer
custody of DON Inventions and Computer Software to other
Agencies has been incorporated.
b. This is a complete revision to this directive and it
should be reviewed in its entirety.
