This instruction implements Department of the Air Force Policy Directive (DAFPD) 48-1,
Aerospace & Operational Medicine Enterprise (AOME); supports DAFPD 10-29, Worldwide
Aeromedical Evacuation Operations; and establishes, defines, and implements standards of
documentation of care in the Air Force (AF) Aeromedical Evacuation (AE) System. This
publication applies to all military and civilian personnel of Regular Air Force, Air Force Reserve
and Air National Guard. This publication does not apply to United States Space Force. This
publication requires the collection and or maintenance of information protected by the Privacy
Act of 1974 authorized by Title 10 United States Code Section (U.S.C.) 9013, Secretary of the
Air Force, and Executive Order 9397 (SSN), as amended. The applicable System of Records
Notice (SORN) are: F036 AF PC C, Military Personnel Records System; F044 AF TRANSCOM
