SUBJECT: Air Force Global Strike Command (AFGSC) Guidance Memorandum to,
AFGSCI24-308, Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV) Training, Certification, & Licensing.
By Order of the Commander Air Force Global Strike Command, this Guidance Memorandum is
the first instance of a to-be published AFGSC publication that provides preliminary guidance for the Joint
Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV) training, responsibilities, and certification/recertification requirements.
This memorandum contains the proper documentation format for all missile wing requirements referenced
in AFGSCI 91-210, Vehicle Safety for Missile Field Operations. Compliance with this memorandum is
mandatory. To the extent its directions are inconsistent with other AFGSC supplements, the information
herein prevails, in accordance with (IAW) Department of the Air Force Manual (DAFMAN) 90-161
Publishing Processes and Procedures.
This guidance applies to Air National Guard and Air Force Reserve Command. This memorandum
does not apply to United States Space Force. The authorities to waive wing/unit level requirements in this
publication are identified with a Tier (“T-0, T-2, T-3”) number following the compliance statement. See
DAFMAN 90-161, Publishing Processes and Procedures., for a description of the authorities associated
with the Tier numbers. Ensure all records created as a result of processes prescribed in this publication are
maintained in accordance with AFI 33-322, Records Management and Information Governance Program,
and disposed of in accordance with the Air Force Records Disposition Schedule located in the Air Force
Records Information Management System.
This memorandum becomes void after 365 days have elapsed from the date of this memorandum,
or publishing of AFGSCI 24-308, whichever is earlier.
