This instruction implements AFI 21-101 AFMCSUP, Aircraft and Equipment Maintenance
Management. This publication applies to AFMC units designated as Non Standard Organizations
(NSOs) in paragraph 1.3 Applicability. It applies to AFRC units when assigned or associated
with AFMC. It does not apply to ANG. This publication is one of the Air Force directives for
maintenance management and provides the minimum basic logistics/maintenance-related program
requirements for AFMC NSOs. It applies to all personnel who: Perform, plan, schedule, evaluate,
supervise or control maintenance of research, manufacturing, test, development, and integration
laboratories and work centers. Deviation to provide/scope applicability for logistics/maintenance
NSOs in an Addendum(s) to the MAJCOM supplement has been approved by AF/A4L IAW AFI
21-101. NSOs are not required to follow AFI 21-101 or AFI 21-101 AFMCSUP, they follow this
addendum. Note: This Addendum scopes the NSOs requirements in meeting the intent of the AFI
and AFMCSUP based on their mission. Ensure that all records created as a result of processes
prescribed in this publication are maintained in accordance with IAW AFI 33-322, Records
Management and Information Governance Program, and disposed of IAW the Air Force Records
Information Management System (AFRIMS) Records Disposition Schedule (RDS). This
