FEDERAL SPECIFICATION
ROLLER, MOTORIZED, VIBRATING DRUM, ARTICULATED, PNEUMATIC TIRE
This specification is approved by the Commissioner, Federal Supply
Service, General Services Administration, for the use of all Federal
agencies.
1. SCOPE
1.1 Scope. This specification covers a motorized roller, equipped with a
vibrating steel smooth drum and two pneumatic tires, mounted on an articulated
frame, and powered by a diesel engine through a hydrostatic drive system.
2. APPLICABLE DOCUMENTS

2.1.1 Specifications, standards, and handbooks. The following
specifications, standards, and handbooks form a part of this document to the
extent specified herein. Unless otherwise specified, the issues of these
