FORMAT AND CONTENT
All data transmitted between users and the ASSIST Online or ASSIST Quick Search databases
now occurs over encrypted connections. Accordingly, the uniform resource locator (URL) for
each database has changed from the hypertext transfer protocol (http) to hypertext transfer
protocol secure (https). Throughout MIL-STD-962D, change the ASSIST URLs as follows:
a. Change http://assist.daps.dla.mil to https://assist.daps.dla.mil
b. Change http://assist.daps.dla.mil/quicksearch/ to https://assist.daps.dla.mil/quicksearch/
