READING LEVEL REQUIREMENTS FOR
PREPARATION OF TECHNICAL ORDERS
MIL-sTD-1752 (USAF), dated 22 September 1978, is hereby canceled. Use of
the AECMA Simplified English, AECMA Document: PSC-85-16598; A Guide for the
Preparation of Aircraft Maintenance Documentation in the International
Aerospace Maintenance Language, as a tool to achieve & ninth (9th) Reading
Grade Level (RGL) for Air Force technical manualslorders is approved for
new design.
Caution: The supersession information is valid as of the date of this
notice and could be superseded by subsequent revisions of the superseding
document.
