1030.01, Victim and Witness Assistance; DoD Instruction 5030.7, Coordination of Significant
Litigation and Other Matters Involving the Department of Justice; and DoD Instruction 5525.09,
Compliance of DoD Members, Employees, and Family Members Outside the United States with
Court Orders. This publication applies to the Regular Air Force, the Air Force Reserve, the Air
National Guard and the United States Space Force. Provisions making military personnel available
to civilian authorities for criminal prosecution also apply to civilian employees (including
nonappropriated fund employees) and dependents. Ensure all records generated as a result of
processes prescribed in this publication adhere to Air Force Instruction 33-322, Records
Management and Information Governance Program, and are disposed in accordance with the Air
Force Records Disposition Schedule, which is located in the Air Force Records Information
Management System. Refer recommended changes and questions about this publication to the
Office of Primary Responsibility using the AF Form 847, Recommendation for Change of
