Purpose: This issuance in accordance with the authority in DoD Directive (DoDD) 5134.01 and in
accordance with DoDD 3200.15:
• Establishes policy, assigns responsibilities, and provides procedures for executing the REPI Program
in coordination with other encroachment management tools and programs to protect military
installations, ranges, and their associated facilities, range infrastructure, and airspace from incompatible
development and other encroachment threats.
• Establishes and provides responsibilities for the REPI Inter-Service Working Group (ISWG) to
coordinate and integrate REPI Program tools and strategies.
