This publication implements Air Force Policy Directive 34-1, Air Force Services, by providing
property management guidance for activities supported in whole or part with nonappropriated
funds. It has been developed in collaboration between the Deputy Chief of Staff for Manpower,
Personnel and Services (AF/A1), the Chief of the Air Force Reserve (AF/RE) and the Director of
the Air National Guard (NGB/CF), and applies to all regular Air Force (AF) members, members
of Air Force Reserve, and members of the Air National Guard that have custody of Air Force
nonappropriated fund property. This publication provides directive guidance that covers Force
Support Squadron activities receiving appropriated funds, Defense Logistics Agency Disposition
Services, and nonappropriated fund property. Ensure that all records created as a result of processes
prescribed in this publication are maintained in accordance with (IAW) Air Force Manual
(AFMAN) 33-363, Management of Records, and disposed of IAW Air Force Records Information
Management System (AFRIMS) Records Disposition Schedule (RDS). Refer recommended
changes and questions about this publication to the Office of Primary Responsibility using Air
Force Form 847, Recommendation for Change of Publication, route Air Force Forms 847 from the
field through the appropriate functional chain of command. This publication may be supplemented
at any level, but all supplements that directly implement this publication must be routed to the
Office of Primary Responsibility for coordination, and all Major Command (MAJCOM)-level
supplements must be approved by the Human Resource Management Strategic Board (HSB) prior
to certification and approval. The authorities to waive wing-/unit-level requirements in this
publication are identified with a Tier (“T-0, T-1, T-2, T-3”) number following the compliance
