FEDERAL SPECIFICATION
CLOTH, DUCK, COTTON; FIRE, WATER, NEATHER, AND MILDEW RESISTANT
This specification 1S approved by the Commissioner, Federal Supply Service,
General Services Administration, for the use of all Federal agencies.
1.
SCOPE AND CLASSIFICATION
1.1 Scope.’
This specification covers fire, water, weather, and mildew
resistant cotton duck.
1.2 Classification.
1.2.1 Types and classes. The finished cloth shall be of the following
tYPes and classes aS specified (see 6.2):
Type I - Cloth finished in Olive Drab 7
Type 11 - Cloth finished in deck gray
Class 1 - Regular finish
class 2 - Dry finish

The following documents of the issue in
effect on the date of invitation for bids or request for proposal form a part
of this specification to the extent specified herein.

any pertinent data which may be of use in improving this
