SCOPE

covers
the
requirements
far
aqueous
.film-forming
oam
(AFFF)
liquid
conoentrate
fire
extinguishing
agents
oon-
sisting
of
fluorocarbon
surfactants
and
other
compounds,
as
required,
to
.oonform
to
this
specification.
At
the
time
of
use
t.hey
shall
be
diluted
.
with
fresh
or
sea
water
to
form a
fire-extinguishing
solution.
Certain

proportioning
equi
pment
may
produce
'AFFFsolutions
of
extreme
oonoentra-
tions;
requirements
for
such.
concentration8
are
specified
herein.

shall
be
of
the

used
