MILITARY SPECIFICATION
HOISTS, CHAIN, HAND-OPERATED, HOOK AND TROLLEY SUSPENSION
MIL-H-904J is inactive for new design and is no longer used, except for
replacement purposes. Future acquisitions for new design of MIL-H-904J should
be made under ASME HST-3, "Performance Standard for Manually Lever Operated
Chain Hoists".
The Qualified Products List (QPL) associated with this inactive for new
design specification will be maintained until acquisition of the product is no
longer required, whereupon the specification and QPL will be cancelled.
