This amendment forms a part of Military Specification MIL-H-
4497A(USAF), dated 15

and is available for use by all
Departments and Agencies
of the Department of Defense.

Military Specifications:
Delete
“MIL-P-7936 Parts and Equipment,
Aeronautical, Preparation
for Delivery”
Militacy Standards:
Add
“MIL-sTD-794, Parts and Equipment Procedures for Packaging and
packing of”

Delete paragraph 3.7.
3.12 delete last sentence and substitute:
“Couplings shall
be fastened to the hose
to withstand the pressures in 3~5 and 3s6 without
loosening or leaking.
PAGE 4
4.3, delete and substitute:
“4.3 Sampling.
For each lot of S00 assemblies or part thereof on
the order, one assembly plus 10 feet of hose shall be selected for
tests to determine compliance with requirements specified in section
3.
The assembly shall be subjected to the tests in 4.4.4.
The 10 ft
specimen shall be used for the balance of tests in 4.4.”
Delete paragraph 4.4.S.
