1. Purpose
a. To provide regulations governing:
(1) appointment of officers in the Medical Corps, including appointment in the Active
Component (AC) and Reserve Component (RC) under reference (a), and in either component
through inter-Service transfer from another uniformed service under references (b) and (c);
(2) voluntary recall of Reserve officers of the Medical Corps to the active-duty list
(ADL); and
(3) award of entry grade credit on appointment in the Medical Corps under reference (d),
section 533, and under references (e) and (f).
