This Air Force Manual (AFMAN) implements Air Force Policy Directive (AFPD) 11-2, Aircrew
Operations, and complements AFMAN 11-202, Volume 1, Aircrew Training. It establishes
standards for qualification, mission qualification, continuation, and upgrade training for aircrew
members operating the C-145A aircraft. This manual applies to all civilian employees and
uniformed members of the Regular Air Force and the Air Force Reserve. This manual is not
applicable to the Air National Guard. This Manual requires the collection and or maintenance of
information protected by the Privacy Act of 1974 authorized by Title 37 United States Code 301a
Incentive Pay, Public Law 92-204, Section 715 Appropriations Act for 1973, Public Laws 93-570
Appropriations Act for 1974, 93-294 Aviation Career Incentive Act of 1974, and Executive Order
13478, Amendments to Executive Order 9397 Relating to Federal Agency Use of Social Security
Numbers. The applicable SORN F011 AF XO A, Aviation Resource Management System is

result of processes prescribed in this publication are maintained in accordance with Air Force
Manual 33-363, Management of Records, and disposed of in accordance with the Air Force
Records Disposition Schedule located in the Air Force Records Information Management System.
Refer recommended changes and questions about this publication to the office of primary
responsibility (OPR) using the Air Force (AF) Form 847, Recommendation for Change of
Publication; route AF Forms 847 from the field through the appropriate chain of command. This
publication may be supplemented at any level, but all supplements must be routed to the OPR of
this publication for coordination prior to certification and approval. The authorities to waive
