This publication implements Air Force Policy Directive (AFPD) 11-2, Aircrew Operations and
AFPD 11-4, Aviation Service. It is used in conjunction with Air Force Instruction (AFMAN) 11-
202V2, Aircrew Standardization and Evaluation Program, and associated major command
(MAJCOM) supplements. This publication establishes criteria and procedures for HC-130J flight
evaluations and applies to all rescue HC-130J units in the regular Air Force, Air Force Reserve,
and Air National Guard, including those with Back-Up Aircraft Inventory aircraft. This publication
is not applicable to the United States Space Force. This manual requires the collection and or
maintenance of information protected by the Privacy Act of 1974 authorized by Title 37 United
States Code Section 301a, Incentive Pay: aviation career; Public Law 92-204, Appropriations Act
for 1973; Section 715, Public Law 93-570, Appropriations Act for 1974; Public Law 93-294,
