This Air Force Manual (AFMAN) implements Air Force Policy Directive (AFPD) 11-2, Aircrew
Operations. It establishes the aircrew training program and is applicable to all civilian employees
and uniformed members of the Regular Air Force, Air Force Reserve, and Air National Guard.
This publication requires the collection and/or maintenance of information protected by the
