1. Purpose
a. To revise and update guidance concerning the provision
of counseling services and the credentials review and
privileging of clinical providers within Navy Fleet and Family
Support Program (FFSP) and Marine Corps Community Services
(MCCS) per reference (a). This instruction is a complete
revision and should be reviewed in its entirety.
b. To provide minimum standards for credentials review and
clinical privileging of FFSP clinical providers (clinical
counselors) as described in reference (b).
