1. Purpose. To publish the mission, functions and tasks of Field Support Activity
(FLDSUPPACT) under the mission established and authorities delegated to Director,
FLDSUPPACT (DIRFLDSUPPACT) per references (a) through (g). This instruction is a
complete revision and should be read in its entirety.
2. Cancellation. OPNAVINST 5450.219C.
3. Scope and Applicability. This instruction applies to FLDSUPPACT and its assigned
commands and activities as listed in subparagraphs 5b(1) through 5b(9).
a. FLDSUPPACT is composed of:
(1) Director (FSA-00) – also designated as DNS-F per reference (g).
(2) Deputy Director (FSA-01).
(3) Administrative and Manpower Department Head (FSA-1).
(a) DNS Resource Integration (FSA-11) – also designated as DNS-F2.
